I am now 7 months 2 weeks after my hysterectomy and still experiencing debilitating post hysterectomy fatigue. I had an emergency procedure and was not well enough to have it having had such severe bleeding, anaemia and admissions for blood transfusions in the weeks preceding.
Hi I’m Tricia – mine’s a flavoured earl grey or vodka /lemonade depending on the time of day! 4 years ago aged 57 I had surgery for breast cancer. Up until the surgery I was having regular monthly periods then BAM! straight into menopause and I wondered what had hit me.
I had a hysterectomy on the 23rd June 2011 as I had been suffering wth heavy bleeding for about 2 years and was very aneamic. I had a hysteroscopy in March prior to this and biopsies were taken which, thank god came back ok.
